I’m not sure how this quote makes you feel, but it certainly makes sense to me. There are many in the church who claim they love God, yet disregard His ways. I wonder if this is what the apostle John had in mind when he wrote these words in 1 John 2:3-4:
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
These are some harsh words for those whose claims don’t match their conduct
