My Encounter with an Evil Spirit

As soon as I woke up this morning, I felt like I was being spiritually attacked.  A situation had occurred, which was not earth shattering, but it was enough to bother me a little.  I’m usually not one to get angry quickly, but I felt like I should be angry about this; in fact, my anger may have even been justifiable.  Without warning, my mind started conceiving all these additional circumstances which were not necessarily tied to the current one.  During my 45 minute workout at the gym very early this morning, I felt like there was a literal war raging inside my mind.  My thoughts were racing.  Bitterness was attempting to overtake me in that moment.  I’m confident that a spiritual battle was taking place.

I’ll be honest.  I can only remember one other time in my life when the pull was so powerful.  Both situations, the one which occurred several years ago and today’s encounter, were not major circumstances, but I knew if I allowed them to get out of hand that they could cause irreparable damage.  I literally had to preach truth to myself (if that makes sense) in order to fend off the bitterness.  When I arrived back at home from the gym, something extremely unexpected happened (which I will not detail here) and the battle stopped.

You and I are engaged in a spiritual battle and the enemy will do whatever it takes to destroy you.

“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:10).

Have you ever experienced an intense spiritual battle?

I can relate everyday we have those moments when something or someone attacks us! and if we are not ready to do battle with evil you WILL LOOSE! That is why I try very hard everyday to put on the full armor of God to defend the evil in this world, sometimes I feel it is me against the world of evil but then i rmember my armor and just like little David I too fight the giants of life…We as Christians must always be ready for battle there are so many who want to see us fall and look bad but I know without a doubt I can WIN so I carry three stones in my heart everyday GOD THE FATHER; GOD THE SON & GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THEY NEVER FAIL ME…..
