“That’s going to be a problem,” I thought as I lugged our luggage into the hotel room which would become our home away from home for the next several days. My eyes had been immediately drawn to the two full size beds lining the small space – my two kids would occupy one bed, which would leave the remaining bed for Leah and me. At home we sleep in a king size bed, so this would definitely be an adjustment, but since I’m not one to make snap judgments I thought we’d try it for a night…plus, I imagined the snuggle possibilities. I’m not too sure Leah was thrilled about “forced spooning” but she was a good sport. After a rough first night of tossing and turning, we unanimously decided that a change must be made. A call was placed to the front desk and they kindly offered to switch us into another room. To say that we were thankful for our new room would be an understatement, but I realize that sometimes it takes bad times to help us better appreciate the good. - Navigation:
